The GNX Wind features a high-visibility, glass-laminated backlit monochrome LCD display with customizable backlight colors, making it easy to view from a distance from almost any angle. The background color can be customized to almost any preferred color, providing contrast and visibility for optimal performance in any lighting environment. Through the NMEA 2000 network interface, it can simultaneously display two data fields and a digital wind map, showing real and visible wind data, Steer Pilot information, boat speed, etc. An automatic scrolling function allows for easy hands-free operation. Low power consumption of 350 mW during the day (no backlight) and 400 mW at night (medium backlight) makes it perfect for sailboats. Customizable configurations include over 15 essential marine parameters such as wind speed, boat speed, and navigation. Easy installation is possible, with options for recessed or countertop mounting. It can even wirelessly connect to compatible charters or quatix® 3 GPS marine smartwatches to stream wind speed data directly to your watch. It is also available with the GNX Wired Sail Pack.
