Excellent starter or complete kit
With the GMI Wired Start Pack 52, you'll have all the equipment needed for all wind and water parameters. This is the perfect starter kit if you want to install multiple instruments on a network. Easily expand the number of instruments you need using the NMEA 2000 network.
GMI 20 Navigation Instrument
The GMI 20 digital navigation instrument display is designed specifically for powerboats and sailboats. Designed to clearly display depth, speed, wind speed, and over 100 marine and vessel parameters, its large, bright 4-inch color display with oversized digits is easily readable from a distance and at a 170-degree viewing angle.
The GMI 20's laminated glass lens prevents fogging and enhances contrast. High-contrast color schemes enhance readability in daylight. For improved nighttime visibility, you can choose from red/black, green/black, or standard night mode color schemes and dimmer controls. The screen can be set to automatically scroll—and automatically switch between pages—requiring no manual operation. This is particularly advantageous for crew members, as you can utilize this product to install devices in various locations on the vessel. Customizable preset profiles are available for powerboats, sailboats, fishing, engine/fuel, and several other user-specified profiles. Powered by the NMEA 2000 network.
gWind Probe
The gWind probe features dual-fin technology and a 3-bladed propeller, providing more accurate True Wind Speed (TWS) in lighter gases, while the dual-fin design offers a more stable True Wind Angle (TWA). Unlike cup-type designs, the 3-bladed propeller delivers superior efficiency at all times. Combined with the probe's optical readout capabilities, it provides excellent accuracy and superb linearity even in low winds.
AIRMAR DST810 Through-Horse Smart Probe
The DST810 combines precise depth, velocity, and temperature data with a height sensor for pitch/roll and sway/roll inputs—provided to the NMEA 2000 network and GNX 20™ instruments. This multi-functional sensor probe can read depths up to 330 feet, providing a fast 5 Hz water velocity signal output, and features an operating frequency of 235 kHz and a 10 x 44 degree fan-shaped beamwidth. Furthermore, its wireless connectivity, equipped with BLUETOOTH® technology, allows the DST810 to be calibrated directly via AIRMAR's CAST application. Advanced velocity calibration can be performed on both pitch and velocity parameters.
