Understand the Wind and Water

With the GNX Wind Wired Sail Pack, you'll have all the equipment you need for all your wind and water project parameters.

GNX Wind Navigation Instrument

The GNX Wind provides the essential wind speed data you need to make decisions. It features a high-visibility, glass-backlit monochrome LCD display with customizable backlight colors. Through an NMEA 2000 network interface, it can simultaneously display two data fields and a digital wind direction chart, showing real and visible wind data, steering guidance, boat speed, etc. Its low power consumption of 350 mW during the day (no backlight) and 400 mW at night (medium backlight) makes it perfect for sailboats. A fully customizable user profile allows you to configure the screen according to your preferences. The display configuration includes over 15 important marine parameters, such as wind speed, boat speed, and navigation. It can even wirelessly connect to a quatix® 3 GPS marine smartwatch via ANT technology, streaming wind speed data directly to your instrument.

gWind Wired Probe

The gWind probe features dual-fin technology and a 3-bladed propeller, providing more accurate True Wind Speed (TWS) in lighter gases, while the dual-fin design offers a more stable True Wind Angle (TWA). Unlike cup-type designs, the 3-bladed propeller delivers excellent efficiency at all times. Combined with the probe's optical readout capabilities, it provides superior accuracy and excellent linearity even in low winds.

GNX 20 Navigation Instrument
The easy-to-read GNX 20 navigation instrument display features white or color-background black text, clearly showing water depth, vessel speed, water temperature, and over 50 marine and vessel parameters. Its laminated glass display with an anti-glare lens provides excellent day and night readability, and the high-contrast digital display can be magnified up to 36 mm.

AIRMAR DST810 Through-Horse Smart Probe

The DST810 combines precise depth, velocity, and temperature data with a height sensor for pitch/roll and roll/shove inputs—provided for NMEA 2000® networking and GNX 20 instruments. This multi-functional sensor probe can read depths up to 330 feet, provides a fast 5 Hz water velocity signal output, and features a 235 kHz operating frequency and a 10x44 degree fan-beamwidth. Furthermore, its wireless connectivity with BLUETOOTH® technology allows the DST810 to be calibrated directly via AIRMAR's Cast application. Advanced velocity calibration can be performed on both pitch and velocity parameters.
